چکیده
Concentration and temperature gradient on a surface can induces liquid convection, known as Marangoni effect. The effect has been extensively studied to understand its fundamental underlying physics industrial applications. In this paper silicone oil is chosen the driving liquid, N-hexadecane driven liquid. By observing spreading process of by Silicon sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) solution, study droplet in three-phase system. experiment shows that, Silicone spreads from inside out, forming ring structure. According dynamic behavior internal external boundaries ring, law influence volume velocity investigated. Analysis that,in initial stage, four-phase contact line(internal boundary) between oil, air, water dominated gravity. scaling radius R line range R~t^{1/4}~ R~t^{1/2}. On gravity , larger faster spreads. But no whole process. next interfacial tension gradient. distance conforms R~t^{3/4}. متن کاملLiquid Spreading under Nanoscale Confinement.
Dynamic atomic force microscopy in the noncontact regime is used to study the morphology of a nonvolatile liquid (squalane) as it spreads along wettable nanostripes embedded in a nonwettable surface. Results show that the liquid profile depends on the amount of lateral confinement imposed by the nanostripes, and it is truncated at the microscopic contact line in good qualitative agreement with ...
متن کاملLiquid Sloshing Effect Analysis on Lateral Dynamics of an Articulated Vehicle Carrying Liquid for Various Filled Volumes
In this paper, the consequences of filled volume on the transient lateral dynamic and stabilities boundaries displacement of an articulated vehicle carrying liquid is investigated. First, a sixteen-degrees-of-freedom nonlinear dynamic model of an articulated vehicle is developed. Then, the model is validated by using TruckSim software. Next, the dynamic interaction of the fluid cargo with the v...
متن کاملModel for spreading of liquid monolayers.
Manipulating fluids at the nanoscale within networks of channels or chemical lanes is a crucial challenge in developing small scale devices to be used in microreactors or chemical sensors. In this context, ultrathin (i.e., monolayer) films, experimentally observed in spreading of nanodroplets or upon extraction from reservoirs in capillary rise geometries, represent an extreme limit which is of...
متن کاملUltrafast Photoinduced Dynamics at Air/Liquid and Liquid/Liquid Interfaces.
Although liquid/liquid and air/liquid interfaces are omnipresent, very little is known up to now about the dynamics of processes occurring at such interfaces. As a detailed understanding of these processes could be of invaluable technological, environmental, and medical importance, considerable effort has been invested over the last two decades in developing new interface-selective techniques t...
